Hailing from Oslo – currently one of the hot spots for fresh and innovative electronic productions – Ost & Kjex (Cheese & Biscuit) first got noticed on the Planet Noise label.
Their well-received debut album -Some But Not All Cheese comes From The Moon- led to gigs in such famous clubs as Fabric, Panorama Bar, or Maria Am Ostbahnhof, where they showed they had the knack for theatrical performances with cheese and wine.
Their taste for flashy costumes, cheesy handbag house and fucked up electronic sounds caught the attention of Crosstown Rebels and Dialect Recordings, who will release this wonderful combination of crunchy beats this fall. Smell it out !

I played at Bestival weekend just gone to 300 odd people two nights in a row , and they wanted to PARTY , i this tune was just right , in moving the tempo up a level , its really nice to give them some vocals , but the bassline just KILLS IT !!! its old school sound man !!

But thankfully for us, there is a couple of fantastic tracks here as well. First up is the dark, grinding and intense 'Shanghai My Cheddar'.
Starting off on a minimal vibe, this builds and builds with a superb electronic bass line, superb percussion and brain melting fx.
'Foodchild' is the other class track here. Again, starting off on a minimal vibe, this doesn't build up as intensely as 'Cheddar',
but does grooves along very nicely with again a superb bass line and yet more brain damaging fx. (...) M7/M8 »
